- High-Speed Conveyor - Material Handling | TREW
Learn about Trew’s high-speed conveyor systems desinged for maximum efficiency and productivity. Our conveyors ensure smooth operations and reduced downtime. Downloads HOME HARDWARE CONVEYOR HIGH-SPEED High-Speed High-Speed conveyor operates at speeds higher than motor drive roller (MDR) and conventional conveyor can, typically well in excess of 300 FPM. These technologies AC powered and are most often applied in mid-rate to high-speed merging applications to create a high-capacity product flow for sortation. Our High-Speed Belt, V-Belt, Skew, and Gaping technologies are modern robust designs focused on reliable gentle product handling, flow and throughput, reliability as reduced spart parts and ease of maintenance to keep critical subsystems in a building up and running day in and day out, doing what they need to do. High-Speed Conveyor Overview High-Speed Belt, V-Belt, Skew, and Gaping technologies handles totes, cartons, parcels, and more Standard modules, components and accessories Common spare parts across product lines 300 – 600 FPM High-Speed Belt 60 – 700 FPM V-Belt Spurs, Skews, and Curves 60 – 600 FPM Meter Belts Brake Meter Belt Conveyor Brake Meter Belt provides features and options that create and optimize gaps for cartons, totes, polybags, and jiffies, within merge and sortation systems. Different gap ratios and performance options allow the system to minimize gap and gap variance while maintaining product orientation which maximizes system throughput. All Meter Belts are shipped with belting included, reducing installation time. A lot of these components are used in our Belt BOR, BOS, and ECC product lines, commonly reusing spare parts. High-Speed Belt Merge Conveyor High Speed Belt Merge provides superior product handling and control through use of belted roller conveyor. Merge is designed to handle a variety of products, such as cartons, totes, polybags, and jiffys. Product specific belts can selected to maintain product orientation through merges at various speeds. Banded return rollers help dampen vibration and reduce noise. Belt guides are present on either side of the unit in order to maintain belt tracking and reduce product friction over the spur transition. This unit shares components from other Series K products, which reduces unique spare parts required. Slug Belt Conveyor High Speed Slug Belt provides superior product handling and unit durability as it is designed to handle sharp ramp ups and slowdowns to build a slug of perfectly spaced, various products by using a high-performance motor and VFD. The intermediate sections are constructed as belt on roller, allowing for lower power consumption and quick. The belt used is identical to that found on our traditional belt conveyor inclines and declines to reduce the total parts needed to maintain a system. Gap Optimizer Gap Optimizers are commonly found as part of a sortation sub-system and is required to speed up and slow down sharply. They utilize a high-performance motor along with the mechanical base of a brake meter belt to perfectly gap a wide variety of product as it is fed onto a sorter. Different gap ratios and unit length options allow for the unit to be designed and applied optimally for specific situations and product mixes. Knife edge end pulleys ensure that the intended gap is maintained through the transition from unit to unit. V-Belt Conveyor Dependable, easy-to-maintain high-speed live roller curves, junctions, spurs, and skews for the highest capacity systems in the market perform at levels well beyond what traditional motor-driven roller designs are capable of. Designs focus on quality of product handling using true tapered curves, tight roller centers, and ease of maintenance with easy-access V-belt pressure and tensioning devices.

MoveIT-Max™ is a quick to install, quick to re-configure, mobile modular transportation conveyor line that can expand the operational readiness and functionality of a given system. HOME HARDWARE MOVEIT-MAX INFO Installation, Configuration, & Support Material Based on Trew’s popular Series 1500 Motorized Roller, MoveIT-Max™ adds special built-in factory features that simplify and speed installation while providing flexible system layouts featuring transportation and manual sortation. Quick to install, quick to re-configure, mobile modular transportation conveyor. Mix and match MoveIT-Max modules to create applications. Modules are assembled ready for to be wheeled into place and connected. Modules are assembled with folding legs with casters, pre-wired and "connectorized" for quick Module to module connections. MoveIT-Max System Overview This page provides a quick overview of MoveIT-Max and installation quick how-to videos. If you have additional questions please refer to the manual linked at the bottom of this page or contact our support team . Step 1 - Unstacking Shipments The conveyor sections will typically be stacked with their support legs folded beneath them, allowing each section to be safely removed using a fork truck. When picking up a conveyor bed with a Fork Truck, watch out for the junction box located directly underneath, as it sits lower than the conveyor frame and could be damaged. Step 2 - Connecting Beds (Line of Sight) There are two types of beds on the MoveIT-Max called the “Parent” and “Children” beds, usually seen with multiple "children" beds attached to a "parent" bed. The “parent” beds have the main power supply mounted underneath, while the “children’s” beds are connected to a “parent” bed by a control cable. Step 3 - Connecting Beds (Electrically) A total of 7 beds (36 motors) can be powered off a power supply (6 children and 1 parent). Each bed has a female connection on the discharge and a male connection on the infeed inside the rail for the smaller control circuit M12 plug. There is a maximum of 4 beds (18 motors) allowed on a single circuit. Step 4 - Power Supply Connections & Components The main enclosure for the MoveIT-Max is located under each “parent” bed and provides power for the connected “children” beds. Step 5 - Junction Box Jumper Placement The Junction Box enables you to choose which circuit off the DC Bus is powering the conveyor bed. Select between the provided circuits (Circuit 1 and Circuit 2) by inserting the terminal jumper between the rail and desired circuit. Step 6 - Overview of Drive Card LEDs The Drive Card LEDs indicate the MoveIT-Max is fully functioning and help identify and troubleshoot any problems. Step 7 - Operating Instructions (Starting & Stopping) A start/stop switch is located on the corner of each bed. When green, the conveyor is continuously running. To turn the conveyor off, push the green button in, and the light will illuminate red, cutting off the power to the card. Step 8 - Configuring Conveyor Speed Conveyor modules are shipped from the factory preset to specific speeds by module. Speeds of the conveyor beds may or may not need to be adjusted at site. Conveyor speeds can be adjusted using dials on the backside of the H20 Auto conveyor control cards and/or software.
